Miss Kathy
Founder / Executive Director / Teacher
Kathy Jensen founded Premiere Preschool in 2003 with the mission of providing an educational environment where all young children can learn, explore and grow. Miss Kathy has degrees in both Social Work and Early Childhood Education and is a proud member of NAEYC and the High Scope Foundation. Miss Kathy and her husband of 22 years, Mikael, have two children, Triston (20) and Darby (18). In her free time Miss Kathy enjoys volunteering in the community and spending as much time as possible with her family.
Miss Theresa
Director / Teacher
Theresa Dickinson joined Premiere Preschool in 2008 and holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakland Community College. Miss Theresa loves spending time outdoors camping, fishing and hiking with her daughter Ashlyn (9) and her husband Dan. Miss Theresa also enjoys working with various Performing Arts programs in the Lakes Area.
Miss Nicole
Administrative Director / Assistant Teacher
Nicole Dailey became part of Premiere Preschool’s Team in 2015. Miss Nicole and her husband Shane have two sons, Casey (9), and Brody (5). In her free time Miss Nicole enjoys Zumba, yoga, and spending time with her family.
Miss Emily
Teacher
Emily Schopf started as a parent at Premiere Preschool in 2006 and became a part of our Team in 2014. Miss Emily has a Child Development Accreditation from Bay Mills College. Miss Emily and her husband Rob live in community with their daughters, Abby (12), Maddie (10) and Livi (7). Miss Emily loves crafts, reading, decorating, flowers and spending time with her family.
Miss Sarah
Teacher
Sarah Plowman started as a parent at Premiere Preschool in 2013 and became a part of our Team in 2016. Miss Sarah has a BA in Elementary Education, a Masters in Curriculum and Teaching, and a Literacy Endorsement. Miss Sarah and her husband Michael live in the community with their children, Allie (10), Dean (8) and Henry (5). Miss Sarah enjoys golf, yoga, reading and spending time with her family.
Miss Jessica
Teacher
Jessica Blades started at Premiere Preschool in 2016. Along with her many hours of classroom experience, she is also working on her degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time Miss Jessica enjoys dance, ballroom dance, and spending time with
her fiancé Andrew.
Miss Amy
Teacher
Amy Chaperon joined Premiere Preschool in 2016 and holds a BS in Child Development and an Elementary Teaching Certificate. In her free time Miss Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Neal and their children Madison, Morgan, and Caden.
Miss Mindy
Assistant Teacher
Mindy LaRosa started at Premiere Preschool in 2004. Along with her many hours of classroom experience she also continues her education in Early Childhood Education through Professional Development. In her free time Miss Mindy loves painting and spending time outdoors with her husband Anthony and her children Colton, Abby and Logan.
Miss Mada
Assistant Teacher
Madalina Ghiban started as a parent at Premiere Preschool in 2011 and became a part of our Team in 2016. Along with her experience working with young children, she also continues her education in Early Childhood Education through Professional Development. In her free time Miss Mada enjoys Zumba, biking spending time with her husband Emilian and their children, Bianca and Michael.
